Finance for a better future

This is significant.

Global finance is paving the way for global governance.

Who would have thought the offspring of Wall St would hold the greatest prospect for World Peace?

Did the hedge fund manager have this in mind when he made his latest arbitrage swoop?

Electronic trading programs factor humanity in their binary?

Or has God found a way to confound us all?

The most mechanical of motions thundering towards our deepest desire.

The invisible hand!

And the billionaire planted it.

Though his billions may not survive the sprouting.

I wonder what else could be growing

Amongst the mechanisms on this beautiful Earth

Consequences we can little see

That horrify

Yet joyfully surprise

When the full bloom comes

Ras Babi

Ras Babi.

The Sudanese prophet.

Makes my heart cry with visions of reality

Tender bites of truth.

Replete with our shame

Heavy with World's sorrow

Understands its infusion with the highest, most noble.

To hold both in the hand surely would burn another.

But Ras Babi stands.

And weeps.
